Personal Facebook Page vs Business Facebook Page
I noticed a question on a friends Facebook page about why you should have a business page. So I thought I would give a little insight to this. Facebook can be a little finicky when they see businesses being run on a personal page, and even been known to shut them down. So if you are willing to take that chance of losing everything you are trying to build up then I say go for it. There are a few more reasons to separate the pages. Facebook insights with your personal page you do not get this and if you truly want to build a business then insights can help you see how many people like your page and views on posts and so on. Also with your personal page you page has a gender and birthday, but with a business page you have a mission statement and a category. Clients can leave reviews about your business on a business page and on a personal page nothing. You can restrict who sees your business page by age and country also. On a personal Facebook page you are limited to 5,000 friends so if you plan to brand yourself you may be limiting your friends. The profile on a personal page is unprofessional compared to a business page, and you do not have access to advertising. These are just a few things but you must realize that having a business page and putting one up does not draw clients. You must have a great cause or product with a following that will want to know, like and trust you. Every great movement has three things. 1. An awesome leader 2. A great cause with something that will happen in the future and 3. An opportunity for the followers. So just having a Facebook page is not going to get your more clients, but a website with a blog and Social Media and bringing all of these avenues together will. You can also create Facebook groups and have them join the group this will help bring in the clients you want, you can even have them answer some questions before allowing them in. So I hope this will give you a small fraction of why you should have a Facebook Business Page.
